To Do: Learn Greek, Move Here

Okay, I’m just going to have to suck it up and learn this language. I mean, I AM going to live here one day, so I better start cracking.  I wonder if I can learn an entire language with a different alphabet by November 9th?

So I missed the first debate because, well, this is my TV ↓

Too many wires and remotes. Hey, I just noticed that little kid’s drawing to the right, under my favorite gorgeous stone mosaic inlay of spirals on the facade of the fire place.

And as much as I enjoy screaming at my television, I’m sort of glad I did.  I started reading a transcript on NPR and just couldn’t bear it. And between working and playing and photographing and thinking about writing, I haven’t had the time or motivation to ruin any of my days here.  Other than basic reports, and all the fact checking bytes, what did I miss?  How is everyone feeling over there?  I’ll tell you, every one is pretty frightened and dumbfounded over here.

Going to do a quick catch up post now because I had a long and wonderful day, but I’m beat.  So here’s a pictorial report of my trip from Athens to this incredible island.  No wonder Odysseus wanted to return so badly. I’m still here and I already want to come back!

So, kali nikta everyone, until tomorrow x
